The idea to create an all-new OS came from my experience in the Amiga community. Samface was the catalyst with a snide remark he made on Amiga.org ('What would you suggest? Creating a new operating system from scratch?'), and so I got Pro-POS rolling in late 2001. Let's see where this will take us.
I allow myself to think outside the box, to put the question for the 'possible' after the question for the 'necessary'. Sometimes you realize only then that your definition of 'possible' was much too short-sighted.
